Entrepreneurship of the Year Scholarship
○ 1 award of $1,000 ○ Criteria for selection:
■ The Entrepreneur of the Year Scholarship will be awarded to a student in the Madeira High School Entrepreneurship class. “The Entrepreneur” is a challenge where students endure rigorous tasks completed as a team. Tasks incorporate various aspects of business: sales, marketing, promotions, charities, finance, advertising pitches and management. ■ After each task, team members complete confidential Task Evaluation Forms rating their team leader and each team member. The person receiving the highest total score during the competition will be honored as the “The Entrepreneur” and will receive the scholarship. ■ Task Evaluation Form components include: ● Communication ● Responsible/Organized ● Composure ● Approachability ● Decisiveness ● Effort
