This memorial scholarship is given in the amount of $1,000, in memory of Vincent Englert, Madeira High School Class of 2020. Vinnie was a devoted brother to his siblings Mary and Eddie and a loving son to his parents. Vinnie was a multi-sport athlete who gave his all in every practice and every game. He tirelessly supported his teammates both on and off the field/court. He didn’t make excuses, he worked harder to improve. Vinnie was friendly and kind to all, and went out of his way to encourage and support younger teammates who might be struggling. This earned him the respect of his peers and staff. This scholarship is being awarded to a MHS student that shares Vinnie’s passion for athletics, a tireless work ethic, and compassion for others.
